Our two bed-roomed, air conditioned apartment for rent in Spain is located in the pretty Spanish town of Isla Plana, just outside Puerto de Mazarrón on the Costa Calida, Murcia with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. The beach being 150 meters away.

The Costa Calida is a 250km stretch of Mediterranean coastline in the Spanish province of Murcia with many blue flag beaches. The area has a micro-climate which features comparatively hot annual temperatures, rarely falling below 18°C with an average of 300 days of sunshine, hence the name Costa Calida 'warm coast'

Although not as lively as the traditional Costas, Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol, Isla Plana and Puerto de Mazarrón offer numerous bars and restaurants where your are able to sample traditional authentic Spanish cuisine.

The apartment is within easy reach of both Alicante and Murcia airports with direct flights from UK from most UK airports by budget and charter airlines such as easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and Jet2. Isla Plana is within easy reach of Cartagena, Murcia town itself and Mar Menor/ La Manga.

For the golfers amongst you, there are a number of excellent courses in and around Murcia. From Puerto de Mazarrón you are only an hour’s drive from the famous Altorreal in Murcia, Dessert Springs in Almeria, La Manga (everyone knows this one), Valle de Este in Almeria and Camposol in Mazarrón. If you look at the La Manga/Mar Menor area there are a number of fabulous golf resorts including the Polaris World resort at Mar Menor with its five star Intercontinental Hotel and Spa.
