Having looked at the Murcia region we chose to buy in Isla Plana as we wanted an area that was close to the sea and beaches, not too commercialised, but also not in the middle of nowhere, and that had an authentic Spanish feel. There are several beautiful beaches, the closest only 150 meters. The clincher for us was the uninterrupted views from the balcony of the Med !

Living Rooms:	Air conditioned, spacious lounge with sofa, dining table and chairs to seat 4, 32" LCD TV, DVD player, DVD's.
Cleaning/towels/ linen:	Clean towels and bed linen are supplied at the start of your holiday.

Notes on accommodation

The apartment is air conditioned (warm and cold air) centrally controlled from the living room. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor access is via a lift and one short flight of stairs. An ideal apartment for families and golf enthusiasts.

Outside

Balcony with table and chairs to seat 4, lighting. Landscaped communal gardens with pool and jacuzzi. Tennis court, secure gated parking with reserved space.

Coast/Beach

There are four beautiful beaches within 1 mile of the apartment, the closest being 150 meters away. All these beaches are European 'Blue Flag' and have lovely walks, secluded coves, rugged coastline and miles upon miles of rich golden sand. Approx 125km of sandy coastline, so there's plenty to explore! For the more adventurous of you there is a 'Naturist' beach at Bolneuvo. The beautiful beaches of Aguilas are definitely worth a visit, this is about 50 mins away heading towards Almeria.

Skiing

You are only a couple of hours drive from great skiing on the Sierra Nevada ski slopes. You can be skiing in the morning and sunbathing in the afternoon! Facilities at the resort include some 40 miles of runs, two cross-country skiing circuits, two cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 T-bar lifts.

Further details

All the amenities you require are in Isla Plana and Mazarron:- several banks and cash machines, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, opticians, dentists, tourist information, even a Vodafone shop !

If you like adventure sports and being close to nature, you are in the right place. - To the north of Mazarron through Totana or Alhama, you will find the beautiful national park, Sierra Espuna. The views are spectacular. Along the journey you will find a few small bars and restaurants serving good quality reasonably priced food. There are a number of walks signposted, if you are lucky, you will see wild boar and red squirrels. Sailing/diving can be undertaken at any time of year and the clear waters and rich flora & fauna offer diving enthusiasts some highly interesting depths.
